**NOTE: The concepts in this tutorial can apply to any medium. (I just happened to use Copics to explain it.)
I talk about light and shadow and show four examples of lighting angles on the face. Should be very helpful for beginners If you use this tutorial, feel free to show me what you've made!
Patrons over on my Patreon page get the lineart of the dude as well as two additional angles as part of the December video

I just recently got Copic Markers. They're a bit more challenging than colored pencils, but I like them so far. I still need a lot more practice though.
Yeah, they're pretty different compared to colored pencils, but they're also great to use together Using the markers as a base for colored pencils, or using the colored pencils as final touches, or a mix
I got some brush markers for X-mas, watching was a big help at trying to figure out how to actually use them
Oh awesome I'm glad to hear that ^^ I hope you enjoy using them!
They are supposed to work like watercolors, but they are much darker. So, still learning. May just only ever use the black one for deep shading -_-
Very helpful ! Thanks a lot !
I use copics
